POWER SIGNAL PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide a digital protective relay device that allows the significant improvement of the digital arithmetic operation capability of comprising units without enlarging the system, and achieves the acceleration of processing speed and further higher accuracy. CONSTITUTION: The processing function of a protective relay is allocated to nine different units. These units are; a system control unit 1 for multiprocessor system; an analog input unit 2 that performs the analog-to-digital conversion of analog inputs and digital filter processing; a relay arithmetic operation unit 3; a sequence processing unit 4; a setting and display processing unit 5; a digital input/output unit 6; an accident detection unit 7; an auxiliary relay unit 8; and a surface panel unit 9. The units 1-5 are connected with one another through a general purpose system bus B1. The sequence processing unit 4 and the digital input/output unit 6 are connected with each other through an input/output bus B2.
