CASSETTE DOOR OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM

PURPOSE: To obtain a door opening/closing mechanism surely performing opening/closing operation by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: Columnar shafts 11A and 11B are provided on both sides of a cassette door 10. The shafts 11A and 11B are provided to penetrate the through-holes 13A and 13B of bearing parts 12A and 12B. A magnet 14A is embedded at the end of either shaft 11A and a magnet 14B making a pair with the magnet 14A is provided at a position opposed to the magnet 14A. The position of the door 10 is regulated by the attractive force of the pair of magnets 14A and 14B. After the door 10 is opened/closed, the contact of the door 10 with a cassette tape is eliminated and the door 10 is closed by the gravity. The pair of magnets 14A and 14B not only positionally regulates the door 10 but holds the door 10 at a position where an insertion port 10A is closed by the door 10.
