METHOD FOR EXTINGUISHING EDGE ZONE OF FOREST GROUND FIRE

FIELD: fire- fighting means used in forestry. SUBSTANCE: method involves ejecting fire- extinguishing liquid supplied in the form of aerosol-gas flow, which is produced by combustion of solid aerosol-generating charge. Weight ratio of combustible solid fuel and liquid to be ejected for extinguishing ground fire of: low intensity - 1:9; average intensity - 1:18; high intensity - 1: 36, with vapor mass not exceeding 20% of fire-extinguishing liquid mass. EFFECT: increased fire-fighting capacity of aerosol-type vapor-liquid flow and improved penetration of fire-extinguishing liquid into fire zone.
