摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce a deformation quantity in the whole of a flexible boot by continuously varying an opening angle in a root part from a large one to a small one on the circumference and shifting a large opening phase and a small opening angle phase from each other in every adjacent units while setting a single root part or plural bellows root parts as one unit. CONSTITUTION: A main body part 14 is formed into a bellows shape consisting of plural crest parts and root parts, and in a single root part, an opening angle is continuously varied from the maximum angleθmax to the minimum angleθmin, and in the adjacent root parts, a large opening angle phase and a small opening angle phase are shifted from each other, so that the maximum angleθmax part and the minimum angleθmin part are in the same phase. Therefore, the maximum angleθmax part and the minimum angleθmin part are opposed to each other in the radius direction, so that their deformations are canceled mutually, and as a result, a deformation quantity in the radius direction is suppressed. Therefore, no interference with an internal machine element is caused even when an internal pressure of a flexible boot 11 is increased.
