PURPOSE: To manufacture a current collector which has characteristics such as high electric conductivity and mechanical strength and is excellent in productivity. CONSTITUTION: First of all, three-dimensional mesh-like structure body nickel 74 by three-dimensionally twining nickel in a linear shape, is prepared. This three-dimensional mesh-like structure body nickel 74 is manufactured through electroplating of nickel to foamed urethane and burning of urethane thereafter. Next, an accumulating layer 72 of thermally expansive graphite, the three- dimensional mesh-like structure body nickel 74 and an accumulating layer 76 of thermally expansive graphite are set in a lower mold 70 of a mold so as to be superposed on each other in this order. In succession, an upper mold 78 having a metal mold surface of a recess-projection shape is lowered, and both metal molds are clamped together. The three-dimensional mesh-like structure body nickel 74 is compression molded by this clamping, and an upper surface of the three-dimensional mesh-like structure body nickel 74 in the mold becomes a recess-projection surface. The thermally expansive graphite is also compression filled in a cavity of the three-dimensional mesh-like structure body nickel 74. |
