<p>PURPOSE: To provide a highly sensitive water hammer preventing device for a water tap by which a water hammer action can be effectively eased by quickly opening a valve even if a comparatively small water hammer wave works on a valve element. CONSTITUTION: A water tap main body 1 is provided with a tap body 10 opening/closing a main valve port 2, and a bypass passage, which bypasses the main valve port 2 and discharge water inside the tap main body 1 to a discharge port 3, and a valve element 20, which is provided with a pressure receiving part receiving a water hammer pressure inside the water tap main body 1 in the lower part and opens the bypass passage by means of the water hammer pressure, are arranged in the inside of the tap body 10. The upper part, which is the inside of the tap body 10 at the same time, of the valve element 20 is provided with a balance chamber 30 to which a water pressure inside the water tap main body 1 is introduced via a communication hole 25 formed in the valve element 20, a pressure controlling chamber 34 which is arranged above the balance chamber 30 and is provided with an air layer, and a piston 32 which separates the balance chamber 30 and the pressure controlling chamber 34 from each other and can be moved freely.</p> |
