This invention pertains to charcoal recovery by means of a dry distillation technique in retorts by a gradual increase of temperature up to 430-450 degrees C. All stages of the process and necessary equipment/units are stipulated so that to realize an energy-autonomous and environmentally friendly process flow, control and management, the equipment includes a single furnace and one to four retorts.
