FIELD: car parking. SUBSTANCE: multitier car park has a lift with a platform, cells placed on both sides from the lift shaft (the cells are used for keeping cars), receiving floor for a car, device for carrying the car in horizontal direction using a tray. Tray storage is proposed to be used for interim tray storage for the purpose of shortening the cycle of placing and removing cars. Device for horizontal carrying a car in the multi-tier car park with a lift has trays for carrying and storage cars in cells, lengthwise members with roller supports for moving the trays, guides coming in contact with the support rollers, tray stoppers placed in car cells, immovable frame secured to lift platform and provided with two spar beam, movable frame being moved using rollers along the spar beam about the immovable frame able to come beyond lift platform boundary, drive of the movable frame, stopping mechanism comprising members for stopping the tray on the platform. Lengthwise member with support rollers are installed in the cells and on the platform of the lift or on the lower surface of the tray, guides coming in contact with support rollers are installed respectively on the lower surface of the tray or in the cells and on lift platform. Two toothed wheels are installed in back and front of the movable frame. The wheels engage two-side toothed rack and provided with a drive. The drive mechanism itself is secured to the movable frame. Stopping members are additionally installed on the immovable frame. The stopping members are kinematically related to the drive of the stopping device installed on the immovable frame.
