FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: puncture needle has metal cannula with obliquely pointed tip and oval apertures located laterally top and heel of the oblique portion. One aperture passes through cannula, and the other extends from the first opening opposite cannula. Needle used for boars and sows has apertures 8-10 mm in length, with the first aperture being apart from top of oblique portion 6-8 mm in length, and the second 10-12 mm from its heel. EFFECT: increased efficiency on taking blood samples in animals. |
