Glider with boom foldable from fuselage

The glider (10) has a fuselage (12), into which a boom (14) with a rotary propeller (16) is foldable. When the propeller is in a preset position, it is foldable together with the boom. A drive train (40) for power transmission is incorporated between the engine (18) and the propeller. A folding mechanism (24) moves the boom and propeller about a rotation axis (20). A joint unit (30) with at least one rotation axis (22) is contained within the drive train. It can be brought into a coaxial position to the first rotation axis during rotation of the drive train for the folding operation.
