Agitator disc for mixing e.g. paint with an electric drill

A circular agitator disc attached perpendicularly to a shaft rotated esp. by a hand-held motor-driven drill has several pairs of mixing vanes (3,4) pressed out of the disc. Of the two vanes in a pair, one (3a,3b) is inclined above and the other (4a,4b) below the plane of the disc, the angles of inclination being equal. Adjacent vanes (3a,3b, and 4a,4b, for example) in adjoining pairs are inclined in opposite directions but on the same side of the disc. The pairs of vanes are separated by sectors (2a), and an opening in the disc corresponding to each pair of vanes is closed by the periphery of the disc. The device is intended for mixing liqs., emulsions, dispersions and wet or dry granular solids.
