The appts. to secure a fabric to a needle strip, such as the edges to a stenter and the like, has a wheel body (1) with profiled structures (3) round its circumference to press into the needle strip (13). The profile coil (2) is laid with its longitudinal axis round the wheel (1), to be carried by it. The radially projecting coils of the spiral (2) apply the pressure against the needle strip.
