NEW METHOD OF PRODUCING MAGAININ

摘要

The preparation method of magainin (I) consists of (1) culturing E. coli MA4 (KCTC 0079BP) for expression of tetramer of (I) using plasmid pMA4 (II), and (2) treating tetramer with protease as Factor Xa or trypsin to get (I) monomer. (II) has tetramer of gene (I) linked at BspMI/ FokI and maltose binding protein gene for expression. (I) is useful as antibiotic. (I) is useful as anti-biotic.
