PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent dust-preventing-effect by forming the captioned damper by means of an orifice, which interchanges the air in two chambers with each other through axial movement of a piston, and an air hole provided with a nonreturn valve, which closes the air-interchange between both chambers through one-directional motion of the piston. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 5 moves toward one direction in its axial direction, a nonreturn valve 8 is closed, thereby closing an air hole 9. As a result, both chambers (a) and (b) are connected through an orifice 7 only. Thus, the air moves from one chamber b to the other chamber 'a', thereby generating braking force. When the piston 5 moves in the reverse direction, the nonreturn valve 8 is opened, thereby opening the air hole 9. Thus, the braking force is relieved. This mutual air-interchange between both chambers 'a' and b in a cylinder 4 makes it difficult for dust that is contained in the open air to intrude into the cylinder 4. As a result, an air damper having an excellent dust-preventing effect can be obtained. |
