The container body (2) carries a swivelable lid (3) divided into two sections, with the first one carrying the container body and the second one protruding over the latter. On the second lid section at least one side wall (7) is formed corresponding to the max. opening angle, abutting a stop (10) at the body in the open state. Pref. one side wall is formed on the left- and right-hand lid outer side and has a stop face, corresponding to the stop contours, with the stop proper integrated in a body flange (11).
