A process for the production of alloys

Alloys of at least two components of different melting points are made by placing the components one above the other in a cold walled inductive furnace with the component with the lower melting point or lower density at the bottom and then inductively heating the furnace. Pref., in the case where the elements have a temperature difference of /! 50 deg.C, the elements are stacked in the furnace according to their density. Al is placed in the furnace in the form of granules with the Ti in a sponge form.
