PURPOSE: To correct the dynamic balance of a body of revolution in a short time while the body of revolution is rotated. CONSTITUTION: A vibration detector 10 to detect the deflection and a phase detector 11 to read the phase mark on a body 1 of revolution are arranged close to a rotary shall and close to the circumferential surface of the body 1 of revolution, and a laser beam scanning system 2 which is provided with a first condenser lens and synchronously rotated with the body 1 of revolution is provided on the axis of rotation of the body 1 of revolution, and the vibration detector, the phase detector and the laser beam scanning system are respectively connected to a host computer 4. A laser beam emitting equipment 8 is provided and connected to the host computer 4, and a second condenser lens 9 is provided between the laser beam emitting equipment 8 and the laser beam scanning system 2. When balancing is made, the rotation of the body 1 of revolution and the timing to emit the laser beam are controlled by the host computer 4, and the laser beam L which is pulse-emitted from the laser beam emitting equipment 8 is converged/diverged by a second condenser lens 9 to be reflected by a reflection mirror 7, and converged on the surface of the body 1 of revolution through the first condenser lens 6 to eliminate the imbalance amount. |
