摘要 PURPOSE: To prevent machining defects which tend to be caused for reason that, when machining is suspended by a stop command during cutting, the top surface of an object to be machined is already cut at the stop position while the lower surface is in an uncut state, and that, when the machining is subsequently resumed in this state, the flow of the molten metal is unsmooth at the start of cutting because of the uncut part. CONSTITUTION: A machining command part 100, receiving a command based on a program for working from a program analysis part 18, outputs a machining command for operating a laser generator 6 and a laser beam machine 9. In addition, receiving a resuming command to release a stop state from a resuming command part 200, the machining command part in cooperation with that part 200 forms and outputs a machining command for resuming the machining. After the resuming, a short distance is cut under the machining conditions of a low speed and a low output for resuming; delay is reduced in the cutting position of the lower surface against the upper surface of the object to be machined; and since the cutting is subsequently continued with the irradiation again of a laser beam under the original machining conditions, the flow of the molten metal is smoothed.
