PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive resin composition excellent in adhesion to polar materials and capable of giving films with good surface slipperiness, comprising a carboxylic acid anhydride group-bearing ethylene-based resin and a carboxylic acid amide-based lubricant containing secondary amide but free from primary amide. CONSTITUTION: The adhesive resin composition excellent in adhesion to polar materials such as metals, glass and polar polymeric materials and capable of giving films with good surface slipperiness is obtained by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. of a carboxylic acid anhydride group-bearing ehtylene-based resin consisting of e.g. an ethylene-maleic anhydride-α,β-unsaturated carboxylic alkyl ester copolymer with (B) 0.01-1 pt.wt. of a carboxylic acid amide-based lubricant containing secondary amide but free from primary amide, consisting of e.g. ethylenebisoleic acid amide, methylenebisoleic acid amide, N-stearyloleic acid amide, N-stearylerucic acid amide or N-stearylbehenic acid amide.
