<p>PURPOSE: To provide a driving method whereby density irregularities in a main scanning direction are corrected without decreasing a printing speed thereby obtaining good recording images. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a memory element for storing correction data for each of recording elements or driving integrated circuits, a random numbers-generating part for generating random numbers, and an operating part for operating the correction data proper to each of the recording elements or driving integrated circuits stored in the memory element and random numbers generated by the random numbers-generating part. An operation result obtained by the operating part is made the final correction data for the recording elements or driving integrated circuits.</p> |
