PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricant compsn. for a slide guide plane which remarkably improves the positioning accuracy of a working table even in a machine tool using a cast iron-fluororesin or cast iron-cast iron slide guide plane. CONSTITUTION: This lubricant compsn. for a slide guide plane comprises a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil and 0.01-30wt.% (based on the compsn.) phosphorus compd. represented by the formula [wherein (m) is 0 or 1; R<1> , R<2> , and R<3> are each independently H, a 1-24C alkyl or alkenyl, or a polyoxyalkylene group represented by (R<4> O)n R<5> (wherein R<4> is a 2-4C alkylene; R<5> is an 8-24C alkyl or alkenyl; and (n) is 2-24) provided at least one of them is the polyoxyalkylene group]. |
