PURPOSE: To obtain the subject beverage not containing any additive, having good keeping quality, reduced in bitter taste and readily drinkable by mixing aloe with Angelica keiskei Koidz in the state of the squeezed liquid. CONSTITUTION: This juice beverage is obtained by mixing (A) boiled aloe squeezed liquid with (B) boiled squeezed liquid of Angelica keiskei Koidz., preferably in a state of 100% stock solution free from additive. A mixture of 60-80wt.% component A with 20-40wt.% component B is preferably used as the juice beverage. Grassy smell is removed and keeping quality is improved and bitter taste is reduced by boiling the beverage at 100 deg.C for about 30min. |
