PURPOSE:To obtain the subject twisted yarn, excellent in removal of static electricity; and useful as woven fabrics, electrical circuit parts, etc., by mixing insulating staples with electrically conductive staples cut to a shorter length than that of the aforementioned insulating staples in a specific proportion, mix-spinning the staples, spinning and twisting the resultant yarn. CONSTITUTION:The objective twisted yarn is obtained by homogeneously mixing and stirring 80-98% insulating staples which are a mixture of cotton staples with polyester staples and acrylic staples of 2-6 de or any thereof with 2-20% electrically conductive staples which are staples prepared by adsorbing monovalent copper ions on acrylic staples, cut to a shorter length than that of the above-mentioned insulating staples and, e.g. having 3-40mm length and 0.3-4 de thickness with an aqueous reducing solution such as a hydrosulfite or staples obtained by binding copper sulfide to acrylonitrile, mix spinning the staples, spinning the mixture and twisting the resultant yarn. |
