PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To demold a molded article from all of molds by a single demolding device by bringing the demolding device of a manufacturing apparatus to sequential operative engaging relation with respect to a large number of molds and performing the motion necessary for opening the molds by the demolding device. SOLUTION: Molds 1 pass a heat treatment device in a closed state to reach a demolding position where a demolding device 11 is provided so as to be sequentially brought into engagement with all of the molds 1 in a foamed plastic article manufacturing apparatus. The demolding device 11 is provided with an unlocking unit 19 and a swiveling unit 20 and both members 19, 20 are brought into engagement with each of the molds 1 by a positioning member 21. When the mold 1 is raised from a mold substrate member against the locking force due to the unlocking member 19, this force is transmitted by the pawl- shaped connection member 23 connected to the unlocking member 19. As a result, a positive locking state is automatically released. Next, a mold half 1a is revolved by about 90 deg. by a revolving member 20 and a core 3 is also revolved horizontally from the mold 1 and a molded article is pulled out. |
