FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: aluminium capacitor electrolyte has in its composition ethylene glycol, acid, ammonia, and water. Novelty is use of sebacic acid, proportion of ingredients being as follows: water, 6.5-31.8; sebacic acid, 1.6-7.9; ammonia, 0.5-1.8; ethylene glycol, the balance. Method for producing electrolyte for aluminium capacitor involves mixing of water, acid, ammonia, and ethylene glycol followed by heating of mixture obtained to temperature higher than 90 C and exposing to this temperature till all ingredients are dissolved.
