FIELD: fuel production. SUBSTANCE: diesel fractions with sulfur content not more than 0.2 wt % are produced at elevated temperature and pressure in presence of alumina catalysts containing 1 to 0.1 vol parts of alumina-cobalt-molybdenum catalyst GO-70 and/or GO-86, which have been activated at 350-400 C in a hydrogen-containing medium with elementary sulfur in amount not exceeding 30% based on catalyst weight or with petroleum distillate fraction with sulfur content expressed as S(C+H)/C where S is sulfur content in material to be purified (wt %), C is a portion of GO-70 and/or GO-86 catalysts in total catalyst packet, and H is the same for alumina- nickel-molibdenum catalyst. EFFECT: increased purification degree. |
