FIELD: civil engineering; gripping devices of lifting and transportation machines. SUBSTANCE: device has gripping members hinge-mounted on crossmember fitted on rod and provided with eye in upper portion and double taper end piece in lower portion. Gripping members are made in form of flat plates with rounded off edges and smooth contact surfaces, and crossmember is made in form of cross with slots and through holes made in pins.
