A pin (10) is releasably mounted in a cylinder lock (20) by inserting it into an opening in a cylinder (23) that contains a spring (29). The pin is turned to engage a male profile at the base of the pin with a female part in the base of the cylinder opening. A blocking component (30) is placed inside the groove in the mouth of the opening in order to prevent axial movement of the pin away from the cylinder. The pin is then released to allow the force exerted by the spring in the bottom of the cylinder opening to push the pin against the blocking component. |
