PURPOSE: To improve the reliability and, at the same time, to provide an electrical connecting structure that can be produced easily by using a lead substrate for applying a voltage to piezoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION: In an ultrasonic motor for giving a frictional drive to a movable body by a vibration wave utilizing the expanding motion of a piezoelectric element, the electrical continuity is maintained by making a connection between an electrode 11 formed on the surface of a piezoelectric element 1 and a conductive projection 4 formed on a conductive pattern of a lead substrate 3 or a projection mechanically formed at part of the conductive pattern. Moreover, a connecting strength can be obtained by fixing the connection with an insulating adhesive. Moreover, an electrical continuity construction is provided by using a pressure mechanism for pressuring and contacting the conductive projection 4 to the conductive pattern. |
