PURPOSE: To easily perform the history management of font data in every character or version by accepting the specification of information regarding a registered font, processing the information as additional information on font data, and managing the font data on the basis of the additional information. CONSTITUTION: This device consists of a CPU1, ROM2, a RAM3, a keyboard 5, a display device 7, an external storage device 9, etc. In this constitution, the specification of the information regarding the registered font is accepted and processed as the additional information on the font data, and on the basis of the additional information, the font data are managed. For example, when temporary deletion of the registered font data is specified, all registered font data are listed and displayed, the specified font data are temporarily deleted, and the history management of the temporarily deleted font data is performed, so that even a case wherein the temporary deletion specification is reset thereafter can easily be coped with. |
