SOUND/LETTER GUIDE BOLLARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structured guide system for the visually and auraly handicapped. SOLUTION: A sound generator 22 to output prescribed guide information in a voice and a letter display 40 to output such guide information in letters are installed on this bollard which is erected as a car stopper or a partition board on the road side or in a park, etc. At least either one of the sound generator 22 or the letter display 40 is operated based on signals sent from a transmitter held by a visually/auraly handicapped person, so that guide information will be outputted for guiding the handicapped person.
