PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a special heating device, to make the operation simple and to eliminate a fear of damage of a catalyst when a deteriorated catalyst is regenerated. SOLUTION: In this device, a catalytic reactor 14 in an exhaust gas denitrification device using a hydrocarbon reduction agent, is divided into plural stages of catalyst filling parts 16 in the serial direction against an exhaust gas stream, coolers 18 are provide don the upstream sides of the catalyst filling parts 16 on and after the second stages and also the hydrocarbon reduction agents are added to the upstream of the respective catalyst filling parts 16. Then, in order to regenerate the catalyst in the catalyst filling parts 16, the temp. of the exhaust gas introduced into the respective stages of the catalyst filling parts 16 is controlled at 300-400 deg.C. |
