METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONNECTING ABBREVIATED NUMBER DIALING IN VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK

PURPOSE: To make it possible to connect also a terminal which is not provided with an abbreviated number dialing function to a specific subscriber inside or outside a VPN by one dial input or a dial input of two or three digits. CONSTITUTION: When a call originating VPN subscriber inputs a specific number, the general subscriber's ID of the VPN subscriber and a specific number signal are received through a common line signal network 4 and a registered ID corresponding to the general subscriber's ID of the VPN subscriber is retrieved by a VPN-sorted general subscriber's ID/registered ID collating table 11 stored in a network service control station 5. Then the general subscriber's ID of an incoming subscriber corresponding to the registered ID is retrieved by a VPN-sorted VPN subscriber's ID/general subscriber's ID collating table 10 and a communication network is controlled to be connected to the incoming subscriber based upon the general subscriber's ID.
