<p>PURPOSE: To keep a charging part out of direct touch even when a worker touches it by his bare hand before fitting so as to protect the worker from an electric shock during connection wiring by covering a plug and a receptacle constituting a connector with insulators individually. CONSTITUTION: In a plug 10, the whole of a male terminal 13 fixed in the end part of a conductor 12 of a lead wire 11 is covered with an insulator 14, and in a part the insulator 14, a lid 15 is integrally formed via a notch 16. In the opposed position to the lid 15, a projection 18, which is fitted in a through hole 17 formed in the lid 15 when the lid 15 is bent at the notch 16, is arranged. The lid 15 is bent inward at the notch part 16 arranged in the boundary between the insulator 14 and the lid 15 so as to cover an opening part, and the projection 18 arranged in the opposed position to the lid 15 is fitted in the through hole 17 in the lid 15. In this way, the opening part of the insulator 14 is covered, so that a charging part, i.e., the male terminal 13 is kept out of touch during work.</p> |
