PURPOSE: To provide the human interface device which is suitable for nonlinguistic transmission showing a feeling with expression. CONSTITUTION: This human interface device has a face-shaped screen 1 having a face shape, an image pickup means 4 which picks up an image of a sender 3, an image processing means 5 which extracts a face image as the part corresponding to the face from the image of the sender 3 picked up by the image pickup means 4, and normalizes the tilt, position, and size of the face image to the shape of the face-shaped screen 1, and a projection means 2 which projects the face image normalized by the image processing means 5 on the face-shaped screen 1. A receiver 6 can see the three-dimensional face image of the sender 3 projected on the face-shaped screen 1. |
