PURPOSE: To obtain a structure in which the image of liquid-crystal display device and the time of a dial at the lower part of the liquid-crystal display device are well visible. CONSTITUTION: A liquid-crystal display device is arranged at the upper part of a clock module 3 which comprises a dial 9 and hands 15, 16. When the liquid- crystal display device 4 is in a transmitting state, the time of the dial 9 is read out. When the liquid-crystal display device and image, the image is read out, and a polarizing plate for the liquid-crystal display device 4 is set to a high transmittance so as to make the dial 9 easily visible. The polarizing plate is set to a high polarization factor, and the image of the liquid-crystal display device 4 is displayed clearly so as to be easily visible. |
