PURPOSE: To increase the cooling efficiency by installing a plurality of substrates on which electronic components are mounted on a chassis in parallel with each other, installing deflecting plates between the circuit boards for regulating the direction of the air flow, forming an inlet and an outlet in a case wherein the chassis is stored, and installing cooling fans. CONSTITUTION: Circuit board 2 are phenolic resin-made thin plates on which electronic components are to be mounted. A chassis 6 is an installation frame on which a plurality of the boards 2 are mounted in parallel with each other through recesses with are formed on both sides of the chassis 6. Deflecting plates 7 are installed between the boards 2 to regulate the direction of the air flow. A case 1 stores the chassis 6 and is provided with an inlet port 8 to take in cooled air and an outlet port 9 to exhaust air. In the case 1, an inlet duct 3 is formed between the inlet port 8 and the chassis 6 and an outlet duct 4 is formed between the outlet port 9 and the chassis 6. Cooling fans 5 are installed in an upper part of the chassis 6 to circulate cooled air between the boards 2 and the plates 7. Due to this structure, the wind velocity is uniformly distributed and thereby the decline in the cooling efficiency is prevented. |
