PURPOSE: To produce an RGB or YMC color filter without need for an intricate process and capable of being easily produced and to improve the spectral transmittance and hue by conducting specified pattern exposure. CONSTITUTION: When pattern exposure is conducted in the production of an RGB or YMC color filter, a liq. crystal display panel with a white light source provided on the rear and a photosensitive materials set on the front is used, three color filters corresponding to the color sensitivity of the photosensitive material are successively inserted between the panel and the light source or the photosensitive material, a light of the desired color element of the panel is correspondingly transmitted according to an optional arrangement, and the exposure is successively conducted three times. Otherwise, three light sources of different wavelengths are provided on the rear in accordance with the color sensitivity of the photosensitive material, a liq. crystal display panel with a photosensitive material set on the front is used, the light sources are successively lit, a light of the desired color element of the panel is correspondingly transmitted according to an optional arrangement, and exposure is successively conducted three times. |
