PURPOSE: To obtain a route guidance system in which unnecessary guidance is prevented at an intersection and a route guidance fitted to the traveling feeling of a driver can be realized. CONSTITUTION: When a plurality of branch paths are present at an intersection and a decision is made that a recommended route is not the straight entering path (S3), the guidance of recommended route is not performed so long as the recommended route is present within a predetermined angle from the straight advancing direction of entering path (S8), the recommended path is a road of the same class as the entering path and other branch paths within the predetermined angle do not include a road more important than the recommended path (S10, S11). |
