PURPOSE: To provide meter inspection method and device, and a meter inspection system capable of detecting and managing current without newly preparing a current measuring instrument and preventing the quantity of consumed current from exceeding a fixed range. CONSTITUTION: Each meter inspection device is provided with a pulse receiving means 2a for receiving a pulse signal generated from a watthour meter 1 for every consumption of fixed electric energy, a counting means 2c for integrating pulses received by the means 2a, a communication means 2e for sending the number of pulses integrated by the means 2c to a communication line as consumed electric energy, a time interval measuring means 2d for measuring the generation interval of pulses from the watthour meter 1, and an arithmetic means 2b for calculating a consumed current value from the generation interval of the pulses and constituted so as to generate an alarm when a consumed current value exceeds a fixed range.
