The system assembles a first part (1) and a second (2) part together and comprises an open housing (3) in the first part (1) which is of 'U' form. An (14) press fits in the housing (3) and has a leg (15). The leg (15) has two strips (16,17) and at a second point (20) forms a 'V' where the summit is at point (21). A part (22) is fixed to one of the strips (16,17) to guide the two parts together during fixing.
