<p>PURPOSE: To improve the reverberation and elongation of a high-pitched tone part in particular by forming string supports in such a manner that extended strings come into direct contact therewith and forming acoustic recessed parts in proximity to these string supports on the rear surface side of a frame. CONSTITUTION: The strings G are extended on the frame 1 in the state of directly coming into contact with the string supports 5. The vibration energy when the strings G are struck by hammers, is therefore, transmitted partly and directly from the string supports 5 to the frame 1. In such a case, the acoustic recessed parts 9 are formed in proximity to the string supports 5 on the rear surface of the frame 1. The frame 1 is, therefore, made easily vibratable by the small thickness of these parts and the vibration of the frame 1 is efficiently converted to air vibration by the increased contact area of the air and sound in the recessed parts 9. Then, the reverberation and elongation of the sounds in the high-pitched tone part in particular are improved by such acoustic participation of the frame 1.</p> |
