PURPOSE: To correctly recognize a graphic by painting-out vector data so as to execute a paint-out graphic conversion processing when the condition of judgement is satisfied after judging whether or not segment width is more than a fixed value. CONSTITUTION: In step S11, an input processing for conversion into a binary image by an image scanner, etc., is executed. In step S12, a contour vector group is picked-up and a contour vector processing as the compression of the information is executed as against the image-binarized data. In the step S13, it is judged whether or not inter-vector distance has more than one mm segment width from vector data obtained in the step S12 only by an outer peripheral contour vector. The processing in the step S14 is executed when the condition is satisfied so as to select the vector to be painted-out. In the step S15, paint-out graphic conversion is executed concerning data selected in the step S14. In the step S17, editing correction is executed based on graphic conversion data executed in the step S15. Unless the condition is satisfied in the step S13, collective polygon and polyline recognition is executed by the processing in the step S16. |
