Stereotactic additional device for carrying out pattern-guided biopsy of female breast

In the compression plates (4,6) of the additional device are equally directed through holes (14), which make possible a guided access of a biopsy needle (15) to the breast (2). In at least one of the compression plates the through holes are inclined in relation to a surface normal (20) of a compressing surface (7) of the compression plate (4). The through holes are arranged at an angle (18) in the range of 30 deg. to the surface normal. The compression plates are fitted in exchange frames (22,24). A marking device (12) is provided for the compression plates, which produce visible markings in a pattern. An antenna device (10) is fitted to the compression plates for prodn. of magnet resonance tomograms.
