Resilient pad for vibration and noise insulation of machines or machine parts

Machines, machine parts, etc. are insulated to prevent transmission of vibration and noise by a resilient pad comprising a rotationally-symmetrical polymeric hollow cylindrical damping body (1) with threaded inserts (2) at either end for attachment of connecting members (3). The hollow cylinder is pref. of a visco-elastic material, partic. polyurethane with a Shore hardness of 40-90. Threaded inserts are pref. of metal, partic. brass, and are embedded in the cylinder by a buttress thread.
