SUCRALFATE PREPARATION

A sucralfate preparation comprising sucralfate and an organic carboxylic acid containing at least two carboxyl groups or at least one hydroxyl group in its molecule. The preparation is improved in the adhesion of sucralfate to the ulcerated part of the mucous membrane and is widely applicable to not only upper alimentary-tract ulcers such as esophagitis and duodenal ulcer, but also lower alimentary tract ulcers such as proctitis and ulcerous colitis, skin ulcers such as bedsore, and stomatitis.
