The cultivator consists of a tool-carrying bar (4) connected to a tractor by a three-point hitch (2,3), and at least two cultivating assemblies, each comprising a carrier (6), two C-shaped tines joined together at the tip to form a transverse V-shape, and a mulch-chopping rotor between each pair of tines, turning in a trajectory (30) which bisects the angle of the V. Each cultivator assembly support (6) has a vertical pivot (1) and is connected to the tool-carrying bar by an horizontal pivot (11) so that its angle can be controlled by a regulator in the form of a tensioner (10) or power cylinder fitted between lugs (9,16) on the support front and rear ends.
