摘要

A small color electrophotographic printer capable of forming a high-color-saturation image comprising means for determining pixels to be recorded by a subtractive process, means for determining an exposure quantity so that the inside of the pixel to be recorded by a mixed color can be divided into two regions at different area ratio and the divided regions have mutually different toner layer thickness, exposure means for forming normal and reverse electrostatic latent images by using the determined exposure quantity, means for development by using toners having different colors, means for transferring the developed toner image to recording paper, and means for fixing the unfixed color toner image formed on recording paper while applying a sliding property.
