The turbo-charger comprises a compressor (1) with an impeller (2) and a lubricant suction preventer from at least one bearing region, when an underpressure appears on the compressor pressure side. The preventer contains a flow duct (10) located between the impeller rear side (8) and a spaced front side (9). Pref. a chamber (12) is fitted behind the compressor impeller with a flow connection to the compressor pressure side (3). At an aperture (13) of the chamber, towards the pressure side, is located a flow resistance increasing device (14) in the flow from the chamber to the pressure side.
