Sliding wear-resistant composite coating (1) comprising a mixt. of hard material particles (3) and solid lubricant (6) particles (5) is formed on a substrate (2). The particles (3,5) are embedded in a binder alloy (4). The lubricant particles are enveloped by a protective sleeve (7), which prevents a bond between components of the lubricant (6) on one side, and components of a binder alloy (4) and hard material particles (3) on the other side. A thermal spraying process to mfr. the coating on the substrate is also claimed. |
